What is a discipline hearing?

Modified on Wed, 26 Feb, 2020 at 12:41 PM

If a Player, Club, or Official receives a Misconduct Conduct charge, they have the option to attend a Discipline Hearing where they can put forward their evidence or mitigation.

If pleading not guilty, all witnesses in support of the charge will be required to attend in order to give their evidence. The appellant is also able to question the witnesses.

If pleading guilty, the player, club, or official can attend a hearing and give a verbal plea. The referee will not be in attendance if the individual pleads not guilty.
